Customs Business Consultative Forum

The PNG Customs Service (PNGCS) will be hosting the Customs Business Consultative Forum (CBCF) under our 2024 theme, “Advancing Growth through Collaboration and Integrity.” This consultative forum will be held for two (2) days from the 20th – 21st of March, 2024, at the Lae International Hotel, Morobe Province.

All key stakeholders from both Private and Public Sectors involved in international trade and supply chain are invited to attend this forum. Registration is Free to attend this Forum.

The objective of this annual forum is to engage with the business community and those involved in the international trade supply chain to discuss new initiatives, provide updates on current reforms and improvements to Customs business systems and address any concerns from the industry.

The anticipated outcomes of the meeting are to enhance information sharing, collaboration, engagement with the business community to support effective and efficient facilitation of international movement of cargo through trade, reducing cost of doing business across the border and promoting sustainable trade and investment in PNG.

The Forum will be interactive and participants are encouraged to come prepared for a constructive and active engagement so we can work together in partnership and collaboration for continuing growth to deliver some strong results in 2024 and beyond.
