It is a requirement for all Importers and Exporters to register with PNG Customs as a measure to integrate with the Taxation Division of Internal Revenue Commission (IRC), ease in facilitating trade and cargo clearance.
NOTE: WE DO NOT ACCEPT IMAGES, OR HARD COPIES WHEN SUBMITTING DOCUMENTATION.

What do you need to get?
In order to register as any of the following, one must acquire the following before lodging with a local Customs Agent/Broker:

Original and complete Form G26 (a & b), and signed.

Original copy of TIN (Tax Identification Number) Certificate, or confirmation letter from the Internal Revenue Commission (IRC) of said certificate.

Copy of valid identification, e.g. driver's license, passport, employment ID, etc...
Company/Business(s)

Original and complete Form G26 (a & b), signed and stamped with company seal.

Original copy of TIN (Tax Identification Number) Certificate, or confirmation letter from the Internal Revenue Commission (IRC) of said certificate.

Copy of IPA certificate and business name extract
NOTE:
- If the entity does not have a IPA certificate, they may provide a letter from IPA stating the validity of the business/company/institute.
- Individuals who are registering as a `Sole proprietorship` may register under their name - trading as the business.
