Customs lose senior officers
PNG Customs lost two senior officers in the months of December 2015 and January 2016.
The Late John Pomoso, passed away on Dec 7, 2015 in Port Moresby while the Late Igo Arua-Igo, passed away on Jan 27, 2016 while on duty travel in Madang.

Both officers had held senior positions in Customs at the time of their deaths; the Late John Pomoso was the Acting Commissioner for Trade & Corporate Service while the Late Igo Arua-Igo was the Acting Director for the Internal Audits Division.
Late John Pomoso had been a Customs officer for 23 years while the Late Igo Arua-Igo had spent 12 years as an auditor in the public service, working for the tax office first before joining Customs in 2011.
Both officers have been described as friendly, humble and very dedicated to their work.
